This short notice covers the details you give us on this page to register your interest in WeGroom. It is a working draft pending legal review. WeGroom is a trading name of Franca Technologies Limited, registered in Ireland.
What we collect
Your email address. If you enter WeGroom Hero, we also collect the photo you upload, your pet's name, and, if you choose to add them, your county and your groomer. If you are a groomer claiming a Founding 50 place, we record that you signed up as a groomer.
Why we collect it
To email you about the WeGroom launch and contest news, and, if you are a groomer, the Founding 50 offer. For WeGroom Hero, we use your photo and pet's name to run the contest, and if your pet wins we may feature the photo on our homepage and channels. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form.
Contest photos
You must own the photo you upload or have permission to share it. Entries are reviewed before anything is shown publicly. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time by emailing hello@wegroom.ie.
Who processes it
We store your details with Supabase (database hosting) and send email through Resend (email delivery), acting as our processors. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Until we launch and contact you, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the details we hold, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@wegroom.ie. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
